   Integrated Development Trust is a nonprofits community based organization works for the empowerment of rural women and children from 2002. IDT aspire to improve the living conditions of the poor and marginalized people by promoting various community initiatives, participatory approach and sensitization programs. The organization promotes and follows the child protection policies and child rights guidelines in dealing with children issues and programs. The organization works in four blocks in Kancheepuram district and has an adequate experience with backward and tribal community intervention. Women self Help group have been the base for initial intervention and now the organization has actively involved in quality education initiatives and empowering single women headed families in rural and tribal villages.
