IDT , We bring joy to poor children !
In the year 1997 Dr.Bakatha Reddy a renowned medical professional met Sr.Stella.D.M at Assisi Farm and Training Center, Kanyakumari district. He was impressed by her work and invited her to start community development works at Vadanallur, Kancheepuram district. He donated 4 acres of land for the community development works at Vadanallur, Kancheepuram district. In the beginning Assisi Farm and Training Center at Kanyakumari district initiated various programs at Vadanallur and from 2002 IDT started its journey as a registered trust (Reg 5/2002). IDT has initiated various development programs for the empowerment of women and children in Kancheepuram district.

Who we are?
Integrated Development Trust is a nonprofits community based organization works for the empowerment of rural women and children from 2002. IDT aspire to improve the living conditions of the poor and marginalized people by promoting various community initiatives, participatory approach and sensitization programs. The organization promotes and follows the child protection policies and child rights guidelines in dealing with children issues and programs. The organization works in four blocks in Kancheepuram district and has an adequate experience with backward and tribal community intervention. Women self Help group have been the base for initial intervention and now the organization has actively involved in quality education initiatives and empowering single women headed families in rural and tribal villages. IDT aims to improve the leadership quality, awareness education on child rights, child protection policies, personal hygiene, environment protection, Livelihood enhancement of single women headed families, improves saving habits and ensure quality education through play way method learning
